Guided Trip Cancellation Policy A trip may need to be cancelled for a variety of reasons. While we try to be as flexible as possible, there are times when we will charge for either the deposit or the full amount of the trip, depending on how much time in advance of the trip the cancellation was made. The primary reason for this is to provide a minimal amount of compensation for the guide(s) that was assigned to your trip. Our guides rely in this income to support themselves and/or their families and was taken out of our rotation when they were assigned to your trip. If the cancellation is made far enough in advance, we won’t charge a cancellation fee since it is likely that we were able to reassign the guide to another trip. We also do not allow cancellations for weather. Our trips operate in rain, sleet, snow or bright sunshine — whatever mother nature decides to throw our way. The exception is when the road conditions are considered dangerous enough for schools in the area to close. In that case we will allow you to cancel or reschedule at no cost. Cancellation Fees: - 7 or more days in advance of the trip will receive a full refund. - 2 days or less will be charged a cancellation fee of 50%. - Cancellations made within 24 hours of the trip will be charged the full price.
