The Kolpin Stronghold Gun Boot XL Impact has an enhanced design over previous models to provide unmatched protection and quick access to your firearms. Unlike most weapons cases, Kolpin gun boots provide easy access to each long gun from the rear of the case uniquely siting them for mounting on ATV/UTVs, boats, and trucks.
How and why it works.
The Stronghold XL Impact has the largest interior of all Kolpin Gun Boot cases and secures virtually all firearms up to 52” in length, including those with attached bi-pods and scopes. The Stronghold provides easy, single-handed entry of your firearm via a wide-opening hinged lid and integrated rubber closure strap.
Designed with frequent use and transport in mind, the Stronghold has an integrated carrying handle and integrated feet which provide outstanding stability both in transit and when set down. Weight is better distributed than with previous versions to make carrying the gun boot easier and more ergonomic. Additionally, a carrying strap can be attached to any of the five integrated sling ports.
Each gun boot comes with a removable padded foam liner that has a zipper for closure. The simple but well thought out feature makes a shotgun with attached dot-sight just as secure as a scoped rifle as the liner absorbs bumps and shock that could throw off sight alignment. Furthermore, an enclosed liner creates near element-proof protection when coupled with the enhanced hinge design. As with all Kolpin gun boots, the Stronghold can be mounted to any ATV/UTV, boat, or truck using a variety of Kolpin mounting brackets.
Every Kolpin Outdoors Stronghold XL Impact gun boot is made in the USA with a virtually indestructible, high-impact polypropylene shell for maximum protection. When locked, each gun boot meets TSA guidelines for air travel expanding the limits of hunters and competition shooters without needing additional equipment.
